My dad came to Tokyo for shopping. In the last 2-3 years he has gained a lot of weight and become “big” and now he is having a trouble to find his clothes at the local shops. Still, he can find some but there are not many choices. In Tokyo, there is this shop “Sakazen“, which sells both casual and formal clothes from regular to big size and is often introduced on TV as a big-and-tall shop. So, we headed to Shinjuku, where there is one of their biggest branches right after we met up at 11am!
I think he enjoyed his shopping there. He ended up buying one winter coat, 2 pairs of trousers and 5 dress shirts.
Afterwards, we walked around Shinjuku and had lunch in Shin-Okubo since he wanted Korean.
It was still early, so we went back to Shinjuku and Dad bought a one-piece dress for my middle sister. It was expensive but looks really nice. I hope she will like it.
On the way to get his train back home, we stopped by Tokyo station and he bought more souvenirs for the family. Especially, a chocolate cake from Keith Manhattan was gorgeous.
It was a pretty long day, but I enjoyed it and hope so did my dad :)
P.S. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos. I forgot to bring my Canon G11 and needed to use my iPod touch. =/
