2010 Golden Week Family Trip -Day 3 / Part 1-

The last day of the trip began with onsen in the very early morning just like the day before.

The breakfast is also Japanese style and we all liked it.

Some soy bean stuff

This onsen tamago is cooked just right to my licking :)

Natto mixed with green vegetable pickles

Some wild vegetables

Boiled spinach ohitashi

Grilled salmon fish with spicy miso soybean paste

Guess what it is for!

Soy sauce heated in a small pot

Yu-dofu. Tofu cooked in hot water with dried kombu seaweed

Pour warm soy sauce into here, bonito shaving and green onion

Natto on the rice. These beans a little bigger :)

Miso soup of tofu and wakame seaweed

    It looks like you had another great breakfast. I like the pot with soy sauce!

    In the hotel, could you choose from a menu what you wanted for breakfast? Or does every guest gets the same dishes?

      Yes, in these 2 hotels where I stayed, same dishes were served to all the guests. But other hotels I stayed before had buffet-style breakfast or gave me a choice of Japanese or Western-style of breakfast :)
